Christmas Time

What a speedy year it has been!
It didn't even feel like December because we have gotten rain and no snow!
It felt strange not having a "White Christmas"
As much as I hate the snow, I would have loved lots of it on Christmas day!
It seems fitting for everything to be bathed in white on the day we reflect on our Saviors birth!

Christmas Eve was such a peaceful day.
Beau had to work so I spent the day with the kiddos tidying up around the house.
Tracking Santa all day long on the computer.
Letting the kids read their letters from Santa.
Opening one Christmas Eve gift....
Baking a delicious ham.
And making crepes for Christmas morning!
When Beau got home that night, we read some scriptures.
Talk about the true meaning and spirit of Christmas.
Watched some Christmas shows.
And of course tracked Santa some more!

I love when the kids go to bed.
It feels magical.
The tree is all lit up and Beau and I get to spend time together reflecting on our Savior.

The kiddos woke up bright and early!
Too early!
I loved their faces......
...when they saw all the presents under the tree!

I thought for sure Lukas wouldn't care that he got way less.
But he kept saying "pees...pees" (which is please) cause he wanted to keep opening with them!
Lukas loved his harmonica from Gpa and Gma Coon .
Caleb loved his Ripstick and is already so good!

Beau and Luke had to try out their new gear!
(this picture of Luke with Beau reminds me of my brother Eli was he was a toddler)

It looked like a whirl wind hit after opening all their presents!

Can't believe it has come and gone so quickly.
We are looking forward to a New Year.
New adventures with our family,
and renewed goals!

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Ooh, Bonnie, ask Caleb if I can try out his ripstick next time we come--they look so cool! I need him to teach me how to rip it up.

I still can't get over how beautiful your tree is . . .

I love the picture of Lucas and his harmonica. It was Tebbins favorite too. Actually, it was a lot of the kids favorite. Hanna let all her kids take their Harmonicas to Mom & Dads for breakfast so they could see just HOW MUCH the kids loved them (and of course you missed hanna doing a jig and playing a tune in the brother in laws ears.) Missed you! Glad to see you had such a great christmas!
