Preschool

Kennedy has been excited about this day for awhile now. She gets mad watching "sissy" and "brother" being dropped off to school everyday.

Finally her day came!
She was awake earlier then everybody. She had picked out her outfit the night before (with much coaxing from me, that arm sleeves probably wouldn't match.) She didn't complain and let me do her hair (with more coaxing that we couldn't add pink in it for the first day. So sparkles it was!) She applied lip gloss (her favorite and most wretched way to accessorize. The girl had a mound that Beau and I had to, once again, coax to wipe some off.)

She wasn't scared at all!

(Her teacher...we LOVE her. Seriously, the women is amazing. She also has a few more openings if any of you want to put your 3-4year old in. Let me know and I will get you her info. She is soooo worth it!)

As you can see in the picture she still has her backpack on. I showed her where the hooks were and she said (so kindly)"I want to wear it so the other kids don't steal it. They will all want it because it is cute."

When I picked her up she walked out and said " I was SUPER good mom, and all the other kids were naughty!" (pretty good indicator she was naughty.)

She said "Do you know what this means?" (as she put her head down on her hands)
I said "No, what does it mean?"
Ken "It means I was naughty."
Me "Oh"
Ken" But I told teacher that I would be super good from now on."

None of this shocked me of course. The teacher did say when she walked out "She is a little firecracker!"

Ken has since picked out her outfit for next week.
She definitely will need a little more convincing that go-go boots, a hot green skirt and red arm sleeves maybe won't be the best option!

Man, It's a good thing she is so cute!
I love my little stinker!

Red Creek

A few weekends ago we had the chance to go camping with our good friends the Church's. It was our first overnight camp out of the summer.
I felt like the baby was finally old enough to venture out in the cold nights. Thanks to Ana and Jake our tent stayed nice and warm. The tent heater they lent us worked fabulously and I didn't stress at all we'd get cold! (Got to get me one of those)

We had a fabulous time. It was a much needed trip. The kids got to run around and get as dirty as they wanted. The adults got to chat late into the night around the campfire ( or more like early into the morning).
Beau and Jake took all the kids fishing during the day (except the two babies) and left Ana and I to relax.

The night we left we all stopped and went fishing. It was absolutely beautiful. We let the men fish until it was to dark to see. It was so peaceful to watch the sun go down and see all the kids having so much fun! This is exactly what I needed to recharge and rejuvenate!

Brag Post Part4

Photobucket

Our mild tempered, sweet, cuddling, lovable, smiley, fourth born, is an absolute joy.

In the short time he has been in our home, he has filled our hearts with so much love!

Lukas is the happiest baby ever. He hardly cries and when he does, it is so soft. And when he cries, he is pretty easily soothed.

He is our first baby to sleep through the night. (Love it!)

He loves to cuddle, smile, coo, and he LOVES music. Anytime music is put on he smiles so huge and kicks his legs. He just loves it!

Lukas is loved by all of his family. He is spoiled. (How could he not be?) He is a big kid for only being four months.

He is so content all of the time.

Lukas has brought a whole new dynamic to our family.

He has filled our hearts with happiness and love.

Our lives have been blessed with him in it, happier because of him, more in tune with him around, and more loving!

We love or lil' "Chubbers"!
Lukas our lives wouldn't be complete without you in it!

We love you Luke!!

(to check out more of Luke's four month photo shoot click here!)

Now go get your brag on!

I want to hear all about your little ones!

Brag Post Part3

Photobucket

This is our sassy, sweet, spoiled, smart, and giggly third born.
Our lil' Kenny is completely one of a kind. She brings such a vibrant light into our lives.

Kennedy is very smart. Almost too smart for her own good! She really says things that take thought and that keep us wondering where in the world she came from!
She is a very outgoing and head strong girl. She is always smiling. She idols her older sister and tries everything possible to have the full attention of her older brother.(which mostly annoys him) She loves her baby brother and is a very "mothering" girl.

Kennedy loves little trinkets and toys. Polly Pockets, little farm animals, anythig that she can fit in the palm of her hand she loves.
She is our "girlie girl". She is constantly looking at herself in the mirror, fluffing her hair, and trying to steal my makeup. She LOVES lip gloss and when she has it on, she won't let her lips touch. (hilarious to see) She has her own unique sense of fashion (that I have decided to let her explore until school starts) She likes to wear dresses and skirts non-stop, with mis-matched shirts and shoes. She also insists on wearing arm sleeves most days! (total punk rock meets colorblind!)

Kennedy loves to read, loves to "get treats", and loves marshmellows. She plays hard, cries hard, teases hard, sasses hard. She puts 100% into what ever emotion she is experiencing! Total drama queen and diva! (but wouldn't want her any other way) Total daddy's girl!!

We love our lil' "Kenny poo".
She brings light into our lives, humor on a bad day, smiles to our faces, and laughs non-stop.
She is our one-of-a -kind princess.

Our lives our blessed with her in it, more fulfulling, and better because of her!!

We love you Ken!!
