Pioneer Park

After we hit the Meadow Memorial site we headed the back way into St. George. I had never been on the back road and WOW was it a beautiful drive.
We took Wes and his family, and Nikki's parents to one of or favorite parks, Pioneer Park.
It is not your typical park, with slides, swings, and playground equipment. It has hiking, rock formations, slot canyons, and is absolutely so much fun for the kids to play at!

These kiddos were daring...they squeezed their bodies through a narrow slot canyon........
.......and made it to the top easily! Oh to have small hips again!
Oh well!

Mountain Meadow Memorial

Back in March we got to have Wes (Beau's Brother), Nikki, and their cut kiddies, here for a visit. We got to do so many fun things with them too.
One of our adventures was heading out to the Meadow Massacre Memorial.
The drive is so beautiful. And the site itself is always humbling.
It is sad what happened. But good to remember that we are all humans capable of weakness and sin.
Here are some pictures in random order from our trip......

I have missed being in Idaho to make fun of all the 1J drivers, but Jeanne and Danny provided that again for us! HAHAHAHA...j/k

More Biking

When we went biking, in the below post, I sat for hours and photographed Beau and Kurt jumping. I LOVE action shots. It doesn't bore me in the least! Which I am sure for Beau is an added bonus that I get to capture him doing what he loves!

Some of Beau

 Some of Kurt

We went again and I got so many more good ones!
But that is another post for another day.
