Memorial Weekend

Savanah and Caleb's last day of school was last Friday. Caleb, unfortunately, was sick and missed it! And Savanah, luckily, wasn't.

(Last day of school)

When I picked her up from school she tried really hard not to cry, but couldn't help it. She was so sad school has ended. She LOVES it. She has even told Beau and I, "When I am president, I am going to make school longer, and everyday!" (We have no clue where she came from.)

Saturday, we went up into the hills with our friends, the Church's and Lovell's, for a day camp. We roasted hot dogs, marshmallows, hiked, played, talked, made tin foil dinners, ate dutch oven cobbler, and just enjoyed the beauty that surrounded us!

It was a perfect day. And we found the perfect spot!
(To see some of the nature pictures, click here!)

We also planted our garden over the weekend, (Better late than never, right?) played at the park, and had a bbq with friends.

This is the first year Beau had Memorial Day off. So it was so nice to have a long weekend with him!

~On a side note~

Kennedy said to me, one day when she was mad at me, in a mean voice "Mom you are skinny!"
When I replied "Thanks."
She quickly added "Just like Santa Clause!"

I seriously laughed. How could you not. How does a three year old come up with these things?

And here are some pictures of Sweet Baby Luke .
We can't believe he is almost 6 weeks old already!
He is such a good and content baby. He smiles all the time, hardly ever cries, eats a lot, sleeps a lot, and is such a chunk. He has lost most of his hair on the top half of his head (He takes after his grandpa's..hahaha) but still has tons in the back!

And that folks, is what we have been up to!

Caleb, Mom, and Stuff

Here is my little motorcycle dude! The second Caleb gets home from school he jumps on his motorbike and cruises around. He makes his own jumps. And has gotten pretty darn good at skidding his tires!
He is such a daredevil too!
Yikes!!

(Here he is getting some AIR!)

And a video clip of him jumping!

Also~
My Mom was able to come and stay with us for eight days after the baby arrived. What a blessing!
S
he was such a big help. She took the kids to and from school everyday, let me nap and just worry about the baby
.
I have no clue what I would do without this amazing women in my life. She is a very special and unique mother in so many ways. She is always putting others before herself and is one of the most selfless people I know!
Thank you Mom for all you do.
Beau and I talk about how lucky we both are for all the help you continually give to us!!
We love you!!

~And~
Here is a slide show of just random pictures of the kids!

Some pictures of Lukas

I am in the process of designing Lukas's birth's announcements. So I thought I would share a few pictures from his photo shoot.

He is such a good baby.
He has already gained a pound and grown an inch and a half in two weeks!
What a chunk!
Life fills so rich and beautiful. I don't know how it ever seemed as good without him here! He has already added a whole new wonderful dynamic to our family!!

Enjoy...we sure do!
