Finally

We have only gotten a few sporadic snow falls this past month.
Nothing that really sticks.
For the most part it has been delightfully warm here.
Until today!

I think my kids and husband (well, he counts as a kid-tehe) died and went to HEAVEN
They have been waiting FOREVER to do this-

They continued to go, even after it got dark!
He enjoys pulling the kids as much as they enjoyed being pulled!

And of course,
after awhile......they just do this.
hahahaha

I know what we will be doing the next several days if it doesn't melt!

Christmas Time

What a speedy year it has been!
It didn't even feel like December because we have gotten rain and no snow!
It felt strange not having a "White Christmas"
As much as I hate the snow, I would have loved lots of it on Christmas day!
It seems fitting for everything to be bathed in white on the day we reflect on our Saviors birth!

Christmas Eve was such a peaceful day.
Beau had to work so I spent the day with the kiddos tidying up around the house.
Tracking Santa all day long on the computer.
Letting the kids read their letters from Santa.
Opening one Christmas Eve gift....
Baking a delicious ham.
And making crepes for Christmas morning!
When Beau got home that night, we read some scriptures.
Talk about the true meaning and spirit of Christmas.
Watched some Christmas shows.
And of course tracked Santa some more!

I love when the kids go to bed.
It feels magical.
The tree is all lit up and Beau and I get to spend time together reflecting on our Savior.

The kiddos woke up bright and early!
Too early!
I loved their faces......
...when they saw all the presents under the tree!

I thought for sure Lukas wouldn't care that he got way less.
But he kept saying "pees...pees" (which is please) cause he wanted to keep opening with them!
Lukas loved his harmonica from Gpa and Gma Coon .
Caleb loved his Ripstick and is already so good!

Beau and Luke had to try out their new gear!
(this picture of Luke with Beau reminds me of my brother Eli was he was a toddler)

It looked like a whirl wind hit after opening all their presents!

Can't believe it has come and gone so quickly.
We are looking forward to a New Year.
New adventures with our family,
and renewed goals!

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

10 Years

Warning -sappy, hopeless romantic here!
If you don't like the mushy gushy---just enjoy the pictures!

10 years!!!!

WOW!
Happy Anniversary to this man here!
10 wonderful, fulfilling, happy years!
It has flown by!
And with it has come lots of ups, laughter, love, children, happiness, tears, joy, and learning!

He really is the worlds best dad!

As our family has grown,  my love has also grown and deepened !
I always think my heart couldn't be more full...but it continually is!

I think Robert Browning put it eloquently when he said
"Grow old with me, the best is yet to be...."

I couldn't imagine life without my best friend to share every moment with!
I am  hopelessly, completely, and utterly in love with this man!

I love how our paths crossed and we came together!
I love the memories we have shared and are making!

".......the best is yet to be!"
Can't wait to see what more years together will bring us!
I love you!!

Part-tay

Oh one of my favorite parties is our "Wretched Christmas Sweater/Attire" Party.
This year the fabulous Ana............
 .....and I planned it!

Can I just SCREAM the word FUN!!
Oh my!
The wretched sweaters were delightfully ugly this year too!

The games a blast!

And the company the best!

I am still laughing at the fun we had!!
