GRATITUDE

I love the month of November. I love Fall. I LOVE Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday! November is always an emotional month for me. I think because I am constantly reflecting on my blessings and all I have to be grateful for. So I thought I would list a few~

I am grateful for Great prophets and leaders. Both New and Old. For their sacrifice and guidance. I am grateful for my Religion and beliefs. I am grateful for the Atoning sacrifice of my Savior. For the opportunity I have to overcome my weakness and be comforted through my trials. I am grateful for Temples. For the knowledge that I have that families can be together forever. That my love for my family will go beyond death! I am grateful for an Eternal spouse. Who is kind, loving, and thoughtful. Who is my best friend and confidant. Who stands by my side in whatever may come our way. I am grateful for Family. For my parents who taught me to always put the Lord first. Who sacrificed and taught righteous principles. Also for my own family. For the chance I have to be a mother, a wife, and raise children! I am grateful for Unwavering faith of so many people. Who set a good example to me and my family! I am grateful for Love. For all aspects of love. For those who spread love through service, for the love of a good husband, for the love of my family!

I challenge everyone to reflect all month long, not just on Thanksgiving, for the things you have to be Grateful for! Times are hard for so many. Share of yourself. Reach out. We all have something to be grateful for!!

Halloween and October

(Warning...this is a long "catch-up' Post)

The kids had a great Halloween! We hope you all did too! Savanah and Caleb had class parties at school and got to dress up. And Kennedy stayed in her Fairy Princess costume all day at home with me. By the time we went Trick-or-Treatin', they were "off the walls" with excitement!

(Caleb was Batman)

(Kennedy was a fairy princess, she insisted on pink in her hair)

(And Savanah was a lion.)
We took the kiddos to a horrid Trunk -or Treat. It was the first one put on and it really wasn't great. So then we walked around the neighborhood with the kids. We had Ana and her kids with us too and my kids were elated. They have missed them. Then we all came to our house for Pizza and "Sugar coma's". HA!

Other things we have been up to this month are:

Carving pumpkins~

~Halloween Carnivals
~Doctor visits~
First we all got a weird stomach bug. It caused you to throw up and be extremely shaky. All the kids got it, then Beau, so I thought I was in the clear. But then I got it. As many of you know I can barely keep anything down as it was, but this bug caused BIG problems. I couldn't even keep down tablespoons of water. So I got some FABULOUS drugs that they give to Chemo patients. But I am thankful cause I could eat for the six days I had them and they worked instantly!

Then A week later Kenny woke up with her face swollen two times bigger than normal. she had weird blisters all over her face. It was SCARY!!! I rushed her in and they think she has some sort of allergic reaction to something. Her is a picture of her after her first steroid treatment. (So you can imagine how much worse it was)

Poor girl, took a week to recover and her face to look normal again!

Couple's Costume Party
The Sherratt's and Beau and I put on a couple's Halloween party every year. I think if we were to go as Plygs (Polygamists) anywhere else it wouldn't funny. Because they are everywhere here! We dressed just like they are dressed! HA! We had our friends the Mckinney's go as the same, so two of us could pretend to be "Sister wives"!

(Do I look the part? HAHAHA! They really do the bofont hair in front and french braids.)
(Here is a long slide show of all the fun costumes!)

We have also been busy
Jumping on the tramp
Doctor appointments (2 1/2 weeks to find out)
Sinus infections
Four wheelin'
FHE's
Girl's night Out
Photography
Getting ready for the next Holidays!

I also want to thank all of you who have sent kind emails and calls of concern ! Thank you so much! I am starting to feel much better and only sick at night instead of all day! (fingers crossed) But I appreciate all of your concern and can't wait to feel well enough to keep up with blogging again and checking on everyone's blog!!

Can you belive it is NOVEMBER?
