Visitors

Dean, Cindy, and Katie stopped by on their way down to St. George for a visit. We got to meet with them one day in St. George for dinner. And we had them over for Sunday dinner on their way home and it was nice to get to visit for a few hours more.
It is always nice to see them. We always wish they could stay longer. But we will take whatever we can get!

Sweet and Helpful Sav

What would we do without our Savanah?
Seriously transitioning to 5 children has not been super easy. It is busy, hectic, and chaotic most of the time. Savanah has definitely helped me so much. I fear that sometimes I don't even realize how much I ask of her because she never tells me no. She just does whatever we ask of her and more. She doesn't talk back, she never complains, she is just a good, thoughtful, and sweet child.
I truly don't know what I would do without my Savanah. She is such a blessing to us. She is so close to the spirit and has such a tender spirit about her.
She is going to be a wonderful mother someday. She is always so loving to all of her siblings.
When you ask her what she wants to be when she gets older, her reply is always
"a mom."

I am definitely going to try to be better at expressing our thanks to her for all she does.

Brothers

Caleb and Lukas share such a special bond. With nearly 6 years between them I was worried that maybe they wouldn't be friends. But straight from the start these two formed a special unbreakable friendship.
Caleb, my worry wart, is always over concerned about Luke. "Hey mom, make sure you watch on Luke today", "Hey mom, you need to watch Luke really good ok?" are generally the phrases I hear at least twice, if not more, a day. Caleb is so overly protective of Luke. Maybe even more so than me some days. But it doesn't bother us. We are grateful he is concerned with Lukas' safety.
Lukas is equally as sweet towards his brother. If we are in town he always picks two of whatever treat I am getting him and tells me "I'm gonna share with my Caleb."
I am so glad they have each other.

I love my little men so much.
Even though boys seem to be WAY more messy than girls, and messes drive me bonkers, I wouldn't  trade the messes for anything.
These boys teach us so much.

Caleb's Birthday Pics

Again....better late than never right?
I will try harder to do them on or before his birthday next year.
 Stop Growing!

Better Late then Never

I try really hard to be Supermom. But let's face the facts...some days my Supermom pants just don't fit.{O.k. maybe most days} Some days I am more like the opposite of Supermom and am Fail-all-day-long-mom.

I have not been as good as I should be with capturing my littles while they are growing. Sometimes, because  I take so many clients pictures, the last thing I want to do is pick up my camera when I get home.
So I am sad to say that here it is July, almost August, and I am just getting around to taking Lukas' and Caleb's birthday pictures from 3 months ago.
I guess it could be worse. I could not have done them at all.
But still I need to be more vigilant with preserving my children's childhood.
Before I know it they will be gone.
Maybe I should try to squeeze my Supermom pants on more often...snug or not.

Here are a few from Luke's shoot.
 EDIBLE.
Oh I just love him!

3 Months Old

Still as sweet and pretty as ever.
Still hating to sleep. Nap time and nighttime.
Still taking the world all in. She doesn't want to miss anything.
Still Spoiled and well loved.
Still our little princess.

LOVING THIS GIRL.
I can't imagine life without her in it!

Oh Lukas

Our little Lukas is such a silly guy.
I know I have mentioned before that he is hard to keep dressed and when he is dressed he insists on doing it himself.
THIS has to be one of my FAVORITE outfits yet.
Mismatched boots, over sized t-shirt, bicycle helmet.
Yep...that is our boy!
I couldn't imagine him any other way. How can you not just smile when you see him?
He is reading his "ticket" in this one!

Oh I just could squeeze him all day long. But he would probably just tell that
"I's Beau's best friend. Not yers mom."
Dang. I am positive I cannot convince him otherwise!

4th of July

This year  Beau finally had the day off to be with us. It was great to be able to have him with us to celebrate. We took the kiddos to the parade, bought fireworks, had a bbq with some friends, splashed in the water all day long, and watch the cities firework show.
For as long as we have lived here we have had a 4th of July BBQ with friends. This year we kept it a little smaller and just and the Lefevre and Church families over.
We love having such good friends. They really are all more like family.
Torsten and Lukas stayed wet all evening. They would jump on the tramp, get into the pool, then play in the sprinklers.
The girls played twister for hours. Even Farah joined in.
I think Grayely had 3 or more pieces of corn. She is adorbs!
Ashtyn is in heaven on the tramp.

We love these friends of ours!
