So here is the chair I purchased for $15 at the DI. Normally I wouldn't pay that much (not like it is a lot, but I am a cheap skate) but since it is all leather and vintage I decided that it would be O.K.
All I had to do with this one, is paint the legs white and then sand them down a little bit to give them that shabby chic feel. And then I just added pillows for color. I am excited to have a place to sit in the girl's room to read to them!! I want to find a basket( -go figure! I am sure you never would have guessed that with my basket fetish-ha) and put it under the chair with the girl's favorite books in it! I am going to do a blog really soon of the before and after of the girls room- so watch for it!
Here is the finished project---(My camera makes it look dark green, but you can tell in the above pic that is is more lime!)

Cute...when I saw that chair I was sad you were going to change the color, but I LOVE waht you did with it, and that you kept the lime. It is wierd how it looks dark green. Love you
