1st Desert Race of the Season

Well Beau's first race started and ended just like that! 

Mesquite, Nevada baby!

Nice weather....great company.....and Beau getting to do one of the hobbies he loves most,  

Dirtbike!

It has been fun to let him fulfill his hobby and take it a step further through racing.

Of course I am always somewhat apprehensive for sake of safety.

But if he is happy, I am happy.

He took FIRST PLACE!!

I HATE the snow

You would think growing up in Idaho I would be missing the snow.

But  I don't. Not even a little.

I love the warmth of the sun.

The sunny park days spent with my children.

The casual clothing that goes hand in hand with warm weather.

But I will admit, when the snow is coming down hard and weighing the branches of a tree with her cool crystallized flakes....it is magical!

 I do still hate the snow,

but it is kind-of pretty!

Grateful For Sunday

O.K. I know it is Tuesday but I just barely got a free second to put up my "Grateful" post from Sunday!

So here it is!

Grateful for the Book of Mormon.

The Book Of Mormon seems to bring me peace and solace when I need it most.

I am going to try harder to be more faithful with my reading!

I love our Max-i-boo-boo

He really is the best dog and I couldn't imagine not hearing his howling.

Time

Grateful for the time I have to be on this earth and TRY to better myself.

Time in every day to be surronded by my family.

Time I have to be a mom!

Time to be happy!

Kenny Poo

This girl is definitely one of a kind!

She is spoiled, I will admit it!

She is sweet!

She is super sassy!

And she has the BEST imagination ever!

She likes to play "Sing Talk".

This is a game she made up where you can only sing your conversation.

So almost every day we "Sing Talk" to each other.

Another fun thing about Kenny is that she follows me around and tells me all kinds of stories.

Always about girls with lots of beautiful dresses and shoes. hmmmmm.....sounds like her!

He is so good to me!

She reminds me every day of the rewards of being a mother!

He snuggles me everday and makes me feel loved!

I am GRATEFUL for these five beautiful people who get to be part of my life everyday!

My life is richly blessed because they are mine!

List Queen

I am  a list Queen.

I will readily admit that I make lists every night and throughout the day!

I love the look of a handwritten list.

I love the feel of accomplishment !

I love to push myself and see how much I can accomplish in one day!

Since baby number four, the pushing has gotten me much farther than the couch.

But I am motivated to do better this year!

And get moving!

I am not a scarp-booker by any means.

I use to love it, but since, have found other hobbies I love more!

But I love taking notes.

I love jotting things down.

As part of the New Year I want to stay more organized and really study harder and better. So I made myself these!

A Primary notebook to keep notes and stay better organized!

An Old testament book to study the manual.
Although I love Primary,  I miss the Sunday School and Relief Society. But this year I am going to study the lessons even though I am not there!

I have my yearly goals.

But I also have monthly "mini" goals to! Things to work on and keep me going forward!

So I thought I book to also reflect and right down ideas and progress might help!

And of course my every day TO DO list!

What would I do without those?

Now hopefully I can be a little more organized and get a little more done!

Oh I just love the New Year, don't you?

I am super excited to get back to Photography. It was nice to take a month off....but I am READY to get back to work and share some new ideas!
