Busy with projects...

Here are a few of the projects that have been keeping me busy lately:

Baby shower gifts for my sisters

These were so fun to do! I wanted to use a Mason jar but had to get a little bigger of containers to fit there stuff. I just rolled up the outfits and tucked them down inside. Then put all the other things in and made it fit! Wal-mart sells those cute labels with ingredients for a girl or boy on them. It added just an added touch of "cuteness" to a plain old jar!

~Filling dirt area with gravel~
(Still need our trim in, and giant edging rock- pictures later)

~More Sod laid in the backyard. We still have
more to do, plus add our sandbox , and dig our fire pit.
(I will post pictures when it is all finished)

Weeding the garden, building squash trellis's,
and picking our spinach. We have already gotten to enjoy it several times!

~ Taking the kids to a magic/ illusionist show. Seriously I wish I had pictures! Their faces were classic. Especially when the girl got sliced in half,
when he made a bowling ball fall out of a flat piece of paper, and put a kids head in a chopping block! Their faces showed complete shock! Savanah almost cried when she thought the boy was going to get his head chopped off! It was so much fun!

These are just a few things we have been up to these past several days!
Life is beautiful, wonderful, and great!
To bad time couldn't slow down so we can enjoy it even more!
What's been keeping you busy?

Oh my! I really am jealous of that garden! It looks beautiful. What are you going to put in your gravel area? Dumptrucks and shovels?

Those baby ingredients are cute--I especially liked the part that said "schedule not to coincide with that of parents." Too true.

What all did you put in those baby shower jars? They are so stinkin cute. We have lots of people having babies. Looks like you are enjoying your summer. Are you guys coming to visit at all? I would love to see you if you do.

You really are busy. I love the garden. I'm jealous that I can't grow silk plants, let alone a garden like yours. Sounds like you're having a good summer. Are you coming for the reunion? I couldn't remember.

DITO to what Rebecca said! We have a sad little garden with hardly anything planted. We are going to get a few more plants today and hope they grow before summer is officially over!

That's a great shower idea! Good luck with the garden. I have a concrete patio for a backyard, so it's pretty low maintenance, but I don't get the fun rewards like I would with a real backyard!
