Quick Post

Sorry that there seems to be NO time to catch up on blogging these days! But hopefully I can find more time soon! We are all so excited for Christmas to be here. We put the tree up a week ago. Usually we do it the day after Thanksgiving, but it took us a little longer this year!

I have had the same decor for a long time. I usually shop the after Christmas sales and buy new ornaments, so every year it is slightly different. But this is the first year I have collected stuff all year. I wanted something MOSTLY different. I love the way it turned out! I think by next year I will have the few things I didn't have this year and the tree will be perfect!

(Two of my three helpers)

Of course, since I took these pictures I have added more large gold bulbs and large black bulbs! But oh well, you get the basic idea!

Also, I made myself an end table to match the sofa table I made. I just wish I had more time to make and finish all the other projects I have in mind!

We got snow this last weekend. Beau has had so much fun pulling the kids around on the four wheeler and plowing driveways! I will try to get some pictures soon! Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season!!

That is a gorgeous tree. Bonnie, how do you not explode from talent!? My goodness. That is such a cute table. I loved the other one, too. I should hire you to become my interior decorator. I do not have that knack. My husband's mom and sisters do so I'm always thinking about what I should do with this wall or that wall, but I just don't know. Anyway, it is all beautiful and amaing. Just like you! Hope you guys have a WONDERFUL Christmas!

Wow, Bonnie! Beautiful tree! I'm in love with your tables. Do really just "go and make" one when you want? I need to figure out how you do that. I love how your house is decorated too. I was not blessed with those abilities, so I need to hire you to come help. Have a Merry Christmas!!

I love the idea of Gold and Black for a tree. I love the vine garlands and how it all came together. Well done. Even with a REAL christmas tree!

Bonnie,
I found your blog through some mutual friends. It brought back memories of when we worked at Dillards together and then we got married at the same time. I guess that means you must have just had your 8th anniversary too. Happy anniversary. You have a beautiful family... and a beautiful tree. You can visit my blog at jesseandashleypacker.blogspot.com. It was fun to catch up on what you have been up to. Take care! -Ashley Packer (Trimble)

I am in love with you tree. It's so gorgeous. Way to go on the sale shopping. I enjoy collecting all the end of the season clearance items as well! Why pay full price when you can have it at 75% off!?
Great work on your table as well. You are so talented. I wish I lived closer so you could teach me.

P.S. How's the pregnancy going??

Wow the tree looked so "normal"before you started, I cannot believe how it turned out. I thought I loved my tree this year. But what you did is very cool. Here's wishing you a wonderful Christmas full of joy and peace!

Beautiful tree. You have so much talent. Also I know Preston would be envious of the four wheeler with the plow. Last year we had 22inches on our front lawn. I know the feeling of how your life can be consumed of the snow.
