Girls Night, Camera, and Random things!

I had the chance this last Tuesday to have a GIRLS NIGHT! My friends and I drove to St. George to go to dinner and then go to the temple! It was so NICE! I really have been needing a break and it was such a perfect one! Plus our friends the Cosson's moved to St. George and I would never miss an opportunity to meet up with Lindsey! She is sooooo missed here!!
( I LOVE these girls! What would I do without great friends? Probably be homesick a lot!!)

(I loved how the rooms were all dimly lit up from the outside! It is so beautiful at night!)

Also, I finally got my NEW camera!!!! I let it sit in the box for a day before I even dared take it out! HA! (I know, I am so weird) I have been going back and forth about the Rebel XTI and Rebel XT version. And finally decided on the XT after a great conversation with my friend Jess! She really knows her stuff and made me feel great about my decision! It is so AWESOME!!! Beau surprised me with a really nice leather camera bag and a new compact flash card to go with it! I am going to to save my photography money and quickly buy an even bigger lens soon!

On the 24th, the kids and I watched the parade and by far my favorite was the Polynesian float! They were so awesome! Look at these guys go with their dance....

We are so excited to see family soon and finally meet our new nieces, Bella and Finley. And also our new nephew Dylan! Beau is excited to go to the White Clouds too! He is such a hard worker and needs a break too!

* Also on a side note I still have two more openings for Photography sessions while we are in IF! Please email me with questions on pricing and to schedule an appointment! (my email address is on my photography blog)**

The picture of us turned out good, but it would be BETTER if you were in it too!!! We should have asked that waiter that you babysat to take a pic of us all...dang it.
Thanks again for coming, it was a great night...one that I was desperately in need of!

fun fun fun! I love having girls night (unfortunately I feel like I don't have too many girlfriends, so my girls nights are far and few between.) That temple is beautiful! I'm excited for you to take my pictures while you are here!

Hey, thanks for using your great new camera for our family the other day! SLR digitals are definitely the way to go as a pro! The delay on our wimpy digital camera drives me NUTS! unless you have the speed and right microchips then you competely lose the moment. Have fun with that one.
