Halloween and October

(Warning...this is a long "catch-up' Post)

The kids had a great Halloween! We hope you all did too! Savanah and Caleb had class parties at school and got to dress up. And Kennedy stayed in her Fairy Princess costume all day at home with me. By the time we went Trick-or-Treatin', they were "off the walls" with excitement!

(Caleb was Batman)

(Kennedy was a fairy princess, she insisted on pink in her hair)

(And Savanah was a lion.)
We took the kiddos to a horrid Trunk -or Treat. It was the first one put on and it really wasn't great. So then we walked around the neighborhood with the kids. We had Ana and her kids with us too and my kids were elated. They have missed them. Then we all came to our house for Pizza and "Sugar coma's". HA!

Other things we have been up to this month are:

Carving pumpkins~

~Halloween Carnivals
~Doctor visits~
First we all got a weird stomach bug. It caused you to throw up and be extremely shaky. All the kids got it, then Beau, so I thought I was in the clear. But then I got it. As many of you know I can barely keep anything down as it was, but this bug caused BIG problems. I couldn't even keep down tablespoons of water. So I got some FABULOUS drugs that they give to Chemo patients. But I am thankful cause I could eat for the six days I had them and they worked instantly!

Then A week later Kenny woke up with her face swollen two times bigger than normal. she had weird blisters all over her face. It was SCARY!!! I rushed her in and they think she has some sort of allergic reaction to something. Her is a picture of her after her first steroid treatment. (So you can imagine how much worse it was)

Poor girl, took a week to recover and her face to look normal again!

Couple's Costume Party
The Sherratt's and Beau and I put on a couple's Halloween party every year. I think if we were to go as Plygs (Polygamists) anywhere else it wouldn't funny. Because they are everywhere here! We dressed just like they are dressed! HA! We had our friends the Mckinney's go as the same, so two of us could pretend to be "Sister wives"!

(Do I look the part? HAHAHA! They really do the bofont hair in front and french braids.)
(Here is a long slide show of all the fun costumes!)

We have also been busy
Jumping on the tramp
Doctor appointments (2 1/2 weeks to find out)
Sinus infections
Four wheelin'
FHE's
Girl's night Out
Photography
Getting ready for the next Holidays!

I also want to thank all of you who have sent kind emails and calls of concern ! Thank you so much! I am starting to feel much better and only sick at night instead of all day! (fingers crossed) But I appreciate all of your concern and can't wait to feel well enough to keep up with blogging again and checking on everyone's blog!!

Can you belive it is NOVEMBER?

That is stinkin' hilarious! Not the sick part, the polygamy part. I love it! I decided to dress up as a hunter because Brad does every year and then he finds out last minute he has to work. What a dork I felt like! It was fun to be a kid again though. I hope you all get feeling better.

Hey there lady! I am sooo sorry you have been so sick and it sounds like the whole fam has been way under the weather! That is the worst when everyone gets sick. I am thrilled for you that you guys are having another one! Your kids are so stinkin cute. Love all the costumes, especially the lion. What did you use for her hair? This year was different with Dave not being here. We have a fun group that usually have a costume party, but without Dave here, no one wanted to do it... I am glad you guys had so much fun! I miss you guys... I am really liking Beau's beard... very dapper! Love ya!

I'm so glad you are all getting better!! Especially little Kennedy!! Holy crap I think your plyg costume should win an award!! That was freakin hilarious. I can't wait to show Josh he will die of laughter. We usually go to Kanab and St George every summer and totally get a kick out of all the plygs. You completely looked the part!!

Bonnie, I am thinking you are the most popular person in the blogging world. I think I will be the 26th comment. I wish we could come to you fun couples halloween party. You guys totally looked the part of a polygamist. Funny! I would have gotten it, if you had your party here.
I feel you on the being sick fun. I wish I were 16 weeks along. I would be feeling pretty good by then. I only have about 4 more weeks until I feel a little better. Your kids look great in there costumes. Kennedy is such a character. See you!

Bonnie, my favorite thing is how stiff you look in the picture where Beau has his arm around you.

Hilarious.

And poor Kennedy's face! Is it getting better?

Bonnie, I must say I love your hair-do! And I love that you didn't smile in any of the picts when you were dressed up, it added to the costume! Your kids looked so cute too. I'm glad you guys are all feeling better too.

Mandy said...

Oh my word Bonnie you crack me up. I LOVE your costume!!! You totally pulled it off with the hair and were did you find that dress!?

Your kids costumes were so cute. I don't think I've seen such a cute lion! That's funny that Kennedy wanted pink hair because Marley asked for the same thing this Halloween. Anyway, Batman was totally rockin the handsomeness as well.

I had NO idea that your family had went through a spout of bad luck with the sick bugs. Darn it!! I'm sorry sweetie. That couldn't have been the least bit of fun. Has everyone recoverd from it and is poor little Kennedys face better??

Sending our love your way

You are so funny! Haha...I love the polygamist costumes. Great idea! I may have to steal it for next year. hehehe

I got the flu when I was 7 months pregnant with my second child. I thought I was going to die and pop the baby out 2 months early with all the contractions my vomiting brought on. Argh! Sorry you guys have been sick. That is no fun.

Hans, Shell, Gabe, Hiett and Tait said...

You made great long sleeved friends. I think you should do your hair like that all the time. That is the plygaly correct term for their belief status among contracting professionals. Plyg sounds so mean. It looked like a great time was had by all.

Boy I get tired just reading your blog between being sick and being so busy it sounds like your hands are full. Your children are adorable. Congrats on the baby!!

Ok that was hilarious. Of all the costumes Ive ever seen "the polygamist" is never been one. Not only unique but historicly accurate, uptight faces and all...I always wondered why the pictures of men back then didnt have huge cheesy grins!!! Anyway it looked like you guys had a good time. Im glad your feeling better. Safe to say the sweet person that you are that your name is in the Temples dotted all over this country. Take care oh and P.S Kennedy looks soo much like Beau in those pictures!
