Warner Valley Riding

Today we had the chance to go down as a family to St. George.
Beau and Caleb planned to do a little riding.
And the girls, Luke and I did a little shopping.

The weather was perfect. 60 degrees and sunny.
We had a perfect day!

I love that Beau is a total "hands on" dad. He isn't opposed to taking Caleb riding.

In fact, he always says how much he LOVES taking him with him.
I love that they share this love of riding.

I looked at these pictures and could picture Luke, when he is older, right there with them!

I love my boys in all their gear!

SLC , Random Pix, and Christmas Tree

We had such a nice mini vacation a couple weeks ago!
We were able to go to Layton and be with all of my family and lots of extended family as well for a Christmas party.
The vacation was much needed !

The kids did a small skit for the party....

The fam w/ Great Grandma and Grandpa Anderson! So good to see them and everybody else! It had been way to long!

Lukas after the party. So tired!
Love these chubby cheeks!

Savanah w/ Luke. She loves to take care of him....

and get him to sleep.....
can you tell she was taking care of him here.
Love the pink!

Lukas reminds Beau and I of Caleb. Caleb use to put things in his mouth and just carry it there.
So does Luke!

Kennedy likes to get a basket and sit and watch movies in it!

And of course my stinker Caleb is going through a phase where he hides when I get the camera out. So hopefully I can get one of him soon!

We have been keeping busy getting ready for the Christmas Holiday!
We decorated the tree! CLICK HERE to see!
We had GPSed it a few weeks earlier. And then went with some friends up to get it!
I love holiday traditions!
I love this time of year!
Hope you are all enjoying it as well!

Zions

I will apologize now for the picture overload. This isn't even 1/8th of what I took. It is like I become possessed when I am in the mountains! So I tried to post mostly the kids and family hiking!

Over the Thanksgiving break we got to also head to Zions.
The weather was perfect! We couldn't have gone on a better day!
All the kids hiked so well and didn't complain at all!
It was really nice!

We hiked the Emerald Pools hike. And went clear to the upper pools!

Starting out....

Good little hikers...

Beautiful views....

Lower pools....

heading up to the second pool....

Kenny wanted to lead the way the whole time. She didn't want my help!

Beau packed Luke and Luke didn't cry once!

Mollie had fun splashing in the second pools run off!
What a beautiful girl!

On our way up to the third pool!

The pool was so beautiful against the red cliff and rock!

Taking a break...need a kiss!:)

This is the background of the pool!
Breathtaking!

Lil' Briglet

Luke

My sisters and I got a kick out of this old man. Seriously he stood like this forever! I felt like I was in a Porter Rockwell Magazine for a second! HA!

Hiking down....

This rock climber was so far away! I could barely see him with my eyes. But see if you can see him in the first and second picture. The first picture I was zoomed in 1/4 and the second 1/2 and the third all the way! I love my lens...it is powerful. I don't get enough opportunities to break it out!

After lunch we waited for the shuttle to head up the mountain further. Can you tell who is tired? Brig just plopped down right where we were waiting! It was so cute!

Hiking some more

Some more beautiful shots...

The kids worked on their junior ranger packets the whole time.
So they got badges and sworn in as Junior rangers!

And what a better way to end the evening then to drive out and see this?

I had such a perfect Thanksgiving weekend. One of my favorites thus far!
My sisters and their families, the food, Dr. Mario tournaments, more food, laughing, talking, shopping, and playing games! Thanks for coming guys!
We hope you had as fun as we did!

I am Grateful

I did a Gratitude Post (Click to read) last year in November and wanted to do one again this year. I know it isn't November still. But I have so much to be grateful for!

I am grateful for the Great examples I have had, of serving others, throughout my life. My parents made it easy for us to learn the importance of service and  selfless sacrifice. I am grateful for Righteous people. My husband, my parents, my friends, leaders, and all those who set such a Christlike example to me and my family! I am grateful for the Atoning sacrifice of my Savior. I know that he lives and that he is my Redeemer! He has set a perfect example for me and my family to follow. I am grateful for Trials. It doesn't mean I want them. But I am grateful that through my trials I discover more about myself. Somethings I like and some things I could improve on! I am grateful that I am me. I may be far from perfect, but I do feel confident in my own skin. I am willing to except my weaknesses and try hard to be better. I am grateful for Teachers and Leaders. Those who are willing to lead by righteous example and not be afraid of the judgment of others! This who teach quietly and probably have no clue no one is watching. And those who teach openly with conviction! I am grateful for the United States. For this great country we live in. For those who serve our country. Through military efforts, police efforts, and those who also serve by standing up for what is right! I am grateful for each  Day. For every day I have to learn and to grow. To be a wife, mother, daughter, and friend. To wake up to my beautiful family! I am grateful for Eternal Families! For the opportunity the Lord has given me to be with my family forever! To enjoy my family in this life and in the next!

I could go on and on. But these are just a few.
I love this time of year!
I do tend to tear up often.
I love the Reflection this time of year brings.
I hope that we are all losing ourselves in serving others.
In looking around to see who may need us!
I hope we are appreciating the things not bought in stores, but the things that matter most!

What are you grateful for?
