More goodies from June

Caleb competed in the 2010 Utah Summer Games for Karate. He got 2nd place for his Kata, 4th for padded weapons, and 4th for flag sparring. We are glad to have found something he loves. Something that teaches him more than skills. But also self-respect, discipline, and self-control.
He loves it and excels in it!

And another favorite from June is our Fishing Trip for FHE.
Here in Cedar they have a kids pond that they stock. It is in a beautiful location up the mountain and perfect for our children. They all had so much fun!
Caleb and Savanah each caught one fish, and Kennedy caught two fish!

And right as we were leaving we got to see these two beautiful double rainbows!
Perfect way to end the day!

June

So much happened in June. But a few important highlights are ..................
FATHER'S DAY

I know it is cliche' to say, but who cares, my husband really is the BEST!
He is such an incredible dad! Always hands on. He knows when to be loving and when to be stern.  Our children respect him and love him so much! I respect and love him so much!
We had a perfect family day together. We topped off the evening by watching the SUN SET as a family!
It was  a perfect ending to such a great day!

And another important event.....
My HUSBANDS 34th Birthday!
(he's old, I know!:))

We had a fun bbq at a friends house and celebrated Beau and my friends birthday!
Then just spent a lazy quite evening together at home.
Oh I l love this man and all of these cute children! I feel incredibly blessed!

We still have lots more to post about! So keep checking back!

Idaho Trip Part 2

I was able to stay with my cute pregger sister Ali on my way home. We always have such a good time together. We laughed a lot and I am sure I kept her up way to late.
The next day we got to go to two of her girls birthday party. She had the most adorable five children. Can't wait to see what this new little one looks like!

SPLASH PARK PARTY

On my way home Beau called and said that they were sending him to work in Provo for the week. So the kiddos and I extended our Vacay and stayed with him in the hotel for another week.
We had such a great time!

I left a little before Beau so I could get unpacked and things back in order.
It was a peaceful drive!
And it was so nice to be back home!

Idho Trip Part 1

WARNING...LONG POST/ Picture Overload

A week after school got out, I had the opportunity to take the kiddos to Idaho. I got asked to be a photographer for the International Babywearing Conference in Rigby, so decided to make it a vacation for the kids too! Although their were lots of work days, we still managed to squeeze in plenty of fun!!

IONA

Cedar is definitely home. But going home to Iona always feels so great. I love the feelings attached to this wonderful place I grew up. Isn't is beautiful?
I miss the farmers fields. The green trees everywhere. The smell of farms and hay being cut. And the cool nights.

We went to Grandpa Jerry's and Great Grandpa Don's farm. The kids loved watching all the animals and playing up there.
They have goats, every chicken imaginable, baby chicks, and sheep.
This is how my grandpa was almost every time we came up. Just sitting in his "tractor"  looking out over his  "kingdom", in his words.

I also enjoyed every minute spent with my sisters! (Oh how I miss them) And I loved meeting both of my brothers girlfriends.
LOVED THEM!!
We had craft parties almost every night, stayed up way to late, and goofed off!

My sisters and hopefully someday permanent sisters!:)

Even my Brother-in-Law Allen joined in the fun...

The kids LOVE spending time with their cousins and I love seeing all of my beautiful nieces and nephews!

(Dang I am missing Jamen, Dylan, Tebbin, and Gabe)

We did tons of birdwatching. I miss seeing so many birds. And I miss all the trees at my parents house too.
This little guy fell out of the tree.

TAKING SCENIC DRIVES
It was nice that my sister shares the same love of picture taking I do. We had so much fun together driving around and taking nature pictures!
Love the Windmills.

The two weeks we were home completely flew by.
But only three more until we are there again! We can't wait!

I have so many nature shots that hopefully I will get on my photog blog soon!

Seeing more Cousins, Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.
(I could shoot myself for not taking individuals of all my cute nieces and nephews on this side...dang)

Miss our families already!
Can't wait to see them all again soon!
